Style Matters is proud to spotlight our recent collaboration with Blackwood Distillery, a project that brings together two distinct yet deeply aligned crafts. Set on the Scottish coast, Blackwood is a space shaped by patience, precision and a commitment to exceptional making; values that mirror the ethos of our own Style Matters Cheshire workshop. Each piece of furniture was bespoke‑made for the bar and aperitif lounge, designed to sit effortlessly within an environment built for slowing down and savouring the moment.

From hand‑finished bar stools to the soft, inviting upholstery in the lounge areas, every detail was crafted to complement the distillery’s character and enhance the guest experience. Materials were chosen for their warmth, durability and natural tactility, supporting a space where visitors are encouraged to take their time, settle in and enjoy the craft behind every pour. The curated collection for Blackwood feels rooted in place; furniture that reflects British craftsmanship while honouring the spirit of Scottish distilling.

Working closely with the Blackwood team, we ensured each piece not only met the functional needs of Blackwood but also contributed to its atmosphere: calm, refined and handcrafted.
