For more than two decades, we’ve championed in‑house manufacturing, bespoke British craftsmanship, and a commitment to sustainable production that supports both our clients and our environment.
Set in the heart of Mayfair, the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane is one of London’s most iconic Art Deco hotels. Its Palm Court Lounge & Bar, renowned for its celebrated Afternoon Tea, has recently undergone a sophisticated transformation, blending heritage elegance with contemporary refinement.
By crafting every piece in our Cheshire workshop, we delivered a collection that is luxurious, durable, and sustainably made.

Every project begins with a conversation, understanding the design vision, the functional requirements, and the atmosphere the space aims to create. From there, our in‑house team collaborates closely with designers, architects, and hospitality operators to develop furniture that is tailored to the environment it will inhabit.
At Style Matters, keeping production in‑house allows us to maintain complete control over every stage of the process- from initial concept and prototyping to frame construction, upholstery, and finishing.
Our team carefully selects responsibly sourced timber, high‑performance fabrics, and durable components designed to extend the lifespan of each piece. Because we oversee every step, we can ensure that nothing enters our workshop unless it meets our standards for quality and environmental responsibility.
Our designers translate concepts into technical drawings and prototypes, allowing clients to refine shapes, comfort levels, and finishes before production begins. This stage is crucial for hospitality projects, where durability and ergonomics are just as important as aesthetics.

Once approved, each piece moves through our workshop: from frame building using responsibly sourced hardwood and precision upholstery to hand‑finished detailing to achieve the desired texture, tone, and character, all while ensuring long‑term performance.
This hands‑on approach ensures that every item is built with intention, individually crafted to meet the exact needs of the project.
Our commitment to British craftsmanship, sustainable production, and design excellence ensures that every project, from boutique hotels to landmark destinations like The Sheraton Grand, receives furniture that is crafted with purpose.
